What is

Kundalini Activation?

Kundalini Activation is a transmission-based practice that supports the awakening of your own life force energy.

Unlike traditional Kundalini practices, which may involve breathwork, physical postures, or disciplined techniques, this approach is rooted in surrender, receptivity, and allowing.

Energetically, Kundalini Activation encourages your life force energy to awaken and move more freely through the body. From a more grounded perspective, it can be understood as the nervous system entering a state where stored tension, emotional patterns, and limiting beliefs may begin to soften, unwind, and release.

The
Lineage

My training follows the lineage of Pi Villaraza, founder of Innerdance in the Philippines.

Following a profound spiritual awakening during an extended period of solitude, meditation, and deep connection with nature, Pi developed what became known as Innerdance — a process designed to support individuals in reconnecting with their authentic selves and their innate capacity for transformation.

This lineage views Kundalini as a divine feminine intelligence that awakens through surrender rather than force. Rather than striving or controlling, participants are invited to soften, trust, and allow their experience to unfold naturally.

Frequently Asked
Questions

What is Kundalini?

Kundalini is often described as a divine feminine energy, known as Shakti or life force energy, that resides within every person. In many spiritual traditions, this energy is said to rest dormant at the base of the spine. When awakened, it begins to move through the body's energy centres, often referred to as chakras, supporting greater awareness, emotional freedom, personal growth, and spiritual connection. Kundalini is not something outside of you. It is an innate intelligence within you, waiting to be awakened and expressed.

What happens in a Kundalini Activation session?

During a session, you simply lie comfortably on a yoga mat with your eyes closed while listening to a carefully curated sequence of music. As your body relaxes and your mind becomes quieter, the conditions are created for your own energy to begin moving naturally. As a facilitator, I am not "doing" anything to you or trying to fix you. My role is simply to hold a safe and supportive space for your process to unfold. Every experience is unique. Some people experience warmth, tingling, spontaneous movement, emotional release, deep relaxation, expanded awareness, or profound stillness. Others simply feel peaceful and rested. There is no right or wrong experience.

What should I do in the first 24-48 hours after a Kundalini Activation session?

The first 24 hours after a session are often the most important for integration. Where possible, take life a little more slowly, rest when your body asks for it, and give yourself space to process anything that may have come up. Kundalini Activation can feel expansive, so grounding helps bring you back into your body and supports the integration process. It can help you feel more settled, present, and balanced after your session. Simple grounding practices include walking barefoot on the earth, spending time in nature, taking a bath with Epsom salts or sea salt, gentle movement or stretching, and drinking plenty of water.

Should I avoid anything after a Kundalini Activation session?

It can be helpful to avoid making major decisions for at least 48 hours after your session. You may also wish to limit social media, television, and excessive screen time so your body and nervous system have space to settle and integrate.

Reiki or Kundalini?

Both Reiki and Kundalini Activation work with energy and support healing, balance, and well-being, but they offer different experiences. Reiki is often experienced as deeply calming, nurturing, and restorative. It supports relaxation and allows the body to receive gentle healing energy. Kundalini Activation is often experienced as a more active internal process. Rather than receiving energy, your own life force energy is invited to awaken and move, supporting release, expansion, and transformation. Many people enjoy both practices at different stages of their journey. My own path began with Reiki and naturally evolved into Kundalini Activation, allowing me to appreciate the unique gifts that each modality offers.

Is Kundalini Activation right for me?

You do not need any previous experience with meditation, yoga, spirituality, or energy work. The only requirement is an open mind and a willingness to allow the experience to unfold in its own way. Whether you are seeking greater self-awareness, emotional freedom, spiritual exploration, personal growth, or simply a deeper connection with yourself, Kundalini Activation offers an opportunity to reconnect with the wisdom and potential already within you. I would be honoured to hold space for your journey.

Do I Need To Be Stressed Or Struggling?

Not at all - many people assume that healing or energy work is only for those experiencing difficulties, anxiety, or emotional challenges. While Kundalini Activation can support people through difficult periods, it is equally beneficial for those who feel generally happy, balanced, and simply curious about exploring their potential. This is something I experienced personally. I came to Kundalini Activation after working with Reiki and did not feel particularly stressed or emotionally overwhelmed at the time. Yet I still experienced significant shifts and releases through the process. Our bodies store the imprint of life's experiences, emotions, and patterns, often without us being consciously aware of them. When the body feels safe and relaxed, it may naturally begin to release what is no longer needed. This work is not about fixing what is broken. It is about creating space for greater freedom, authenticity, connection, and self-awareness.

How many Kundalini Activation sessions will I need?

There is no set number of sessions. Some people experience profound shifts after just one session. Others discover that Kundalini Activation unfolds gradually over time. Many people choose to experience 3 sessions before deciding if this path resonates either them .

Smiling With Carrots

Many people find it beneficial to eat nourishing, grounding foods after a session, such as:

  • Root vegetables like carrots, sweet potatoes, parsnips, and beetroot

  • Protein-rich meals

  • Warm, wholesome foods

Personally, I found coconut water particularly supportive after sessions due to its natural electrolytes and hydrating properties.
